Jaymala Khilare (Malbari) is a Patent Analyst with over 6 years of experience in intellectual property services, including patent searching, analytics, and techno-commercial evaluations. She holds a Master of Engineering (ME) degree in VLSI & Embedded Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from Pune University.

She has previously worked with CSIR-URDIP and Nanobiz India Pvt. Ltd., where she provided IP services to leading R&D organizations, public-sector clients, and multinational companies. Jaymala is skilled in a wide range of patent searches including patentability, freedom-to-operate (FTO), invalidity, and landscape analysis. She has worked extensively on claim chart construction, infringement analysis, and techno-legal evaluations across domains like automotive systems, sensors, mechatronics, embedded systems, electric vehicles, medical devices, and green technologies. She has expertise in working with patent databases such as Orbit, PatSeer, Espacenet, and USPTO, and analysis tools like Smart Chart and Vantage Point.

She has also trained over 20 professionals in patent search techniques and database usage. In addition to analytical skills, Jaymala has assisted in drafting responses to First Examination Reports (FER) and has undergone professional courses in Patent Specification Drafting (RGNIIPM) and WIPO’s General Course on Intellectual Property.

Her strong academic foundation is complemented by publications on high-speed computing architecture based on Vedic mathematics. Jaymala brings both technical depth and strategic insight to her work and is currently contributing to the patent analytics and prosecution team at AM Legal Associates.
