Dr. Vaishali Pawar is a registered Patent Attorney of the Patent Office of the Government of India. She pursued her Ph. D in Botany in the field of Bio nanotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2020. She has completed her Graduation and Post-Graduation in Biotechnology. She has qualified CSIR-NET LS, ICAR NET LS, SET (Maharashtra state) and GATE examinations conducted by Government of India. She has overall 7 years of experience in academics. She started her career in academics and then established herself as a patent practitioner. Because of her rising interests in Patents and Intellectual Property Laws she started working in the field of IP. She is involved in conducting Prior Art Searches, Patent Landscaping and Patentability Search. She has experience in conducting searches on Non-Patent literature databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect and ISI Web of knowledge. She is involved in the patent prosecution specially related to biotechnology and life sciences.
